The brief
Keep a service business's website online, current and renewed without the client having to think about it.

What we did

  • Took over domain and hosting management
  • Consolidated renewals into one annual subscription
  • Handle updates, backups and monitoring

The outcome
One owner, one invoice, one renewal date — and a website that has not gone down because a notice went unread.

The challenge

For a service business, the website is the shopfront — but nobody’s actual job is to look after it. The domain sits in an account someone set up years ago. Hosting renews against a card that expired. Update notices go to an inbox nobody opens.

Sites do not usually go down because of an attack. They go down because a renewal notice went unread.

The approach

One owner, one invoice, one date

We consolidated domain registration and hosting into a single annual subscription that we own operationally. Renewal is our diary entry, not the client’s.

Care, not just hosting

The subscription covers updates, backups, uptime monitoring and SSL — the maintenance work that decides whether a site is merely online or actually functional.

Priced so it never gets cut

Website care should never be the line item a business economises on in a tight month. It is priced deliberately below the threshold where that conversation happens.

Why this matters more than it looks

This is the least impressive-sounding service we sell and one of the most consequential. A client running significant monthly media, pointing at a site that is down, loses the entire month. Care plans exist so that the expensive part of marketing never fails on the cheap part.

Two ways to get a price.

We don’t publish a rate card. Every engagement is scoped and quoted bespoke, because what you pay depends on channel mix, production volume and reporting depth. A published price would only tell you what somebody else paid for something different.

Talk to us

Thirty minutes, and you’ll leave with a number. Not a discovery call that leads to another discovery call. By the end you will have a range and an honest view on whether we are the right people.

Tell us what you need

Complete the client needs form and we’ll send a scoped contract. Better if you’d rather not get on a call yet, or need something in writing for a decision-maker. Ten minutes.
